IMPORTANT NOTICES

- Bulk trash pickup and street sweeping is suspended for Tuesday. Daily trash and recycling pickup services will be determined on Tuesday morning.
TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION
- Metrorail will operate on a regular weekday schedule on Monday evening. The rail system will close at midnight.
- On Tuesday, the rail system is expected to open at 5 a.m. with service above and below ground. All stations will be open. Trains will operate on a Saturday schedule (about every 12 minutes on each line).
- On Tuesday, SafeTrack shuttle buses between Franconia-Springfield and Pentagon will not operate.
- Metrobus will operate on a severe snow weather plan on Tuesday. Metrobus service on Monday evening may be delayed or detoured due to road/weather conditions.
- MetroAccess paratransit service is suspend as of 4 p.m. Monday. There will be no service on Tuesday.
WHAT TO DO IF...
- You experience a power outage: Call Pepco's 24-Hour Outage Report Line at 1-877-737-2662. For downed wires, call Pepco immediately at 877-737-2662, press 1 for a D.C. account, then press 2. Track outages and responses online at http://bit.ly/2lTWgns.
- You experience a gas emergency: Call the Washington Gas Emergency Line at (703) 750-1400 or Customer Service at 703-750-1000.
- You experience a water emergency: Call DC Water at (202) 612-3400.
- You have fallen trees or excessive debris: Call the Mayor's Citywide Call Center at 311 or report it online here.
- Your car gets towed: Call the Towing Control Dispatch Center at 202-541-6083 for help finding it.
- Your street has not been plowed: Check the live snow plow tracker at http://snowmap.dc.gov/.
- You see someone in need of shelter: Call the Shelter Hotline to request transportation at (202) 399-7093 or call 311.
- You have a non-emergency need or question: Contact 311
- You have an emergency: Contact 911
EMERGENCY WARMING CENTERS AND FACILITIES
If you experience an emergency in which you cannot stay in your home or know someone who has no permanent shelter, the sites below are available for warming and emergency shelter.
Families seeking emergency shelter can also visit the Virginia Williams Family Resource Center at 920 Rhode Island Avenue NE, from Monday to Thursday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
